Mor Gavish is a co-host and professional therapist at PTSD Nation. Mor is a psychotherapist, marriage and family therapist who specializes in working with trauma, anxiety, sexual and emotional abuse. Mor has a private practice in San Francisco, California (US). Mor has a BA in psychology, sociology & anthropology from Ben Gurion University and a Masters degree in psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. She has extensive training in different modalities of trauma work including mindfulness, psychodynamics, relational and somatic experiencing. Mor is also a lecturer at the California Institute of Integral Studies. She is a co-founder of The Anxiety Relief Center in San Francisco - the Center helped clients to cope with trauma and anxiety through psychotherapy and intensive workshops. While Mor lived in Israel, she worked in numerous organizations with youth and adults with varying mental abilities: in distress, trauma, anxiety, depression and PTSD.
Manny Waks is Founder and Host of PTSD Nation. Manny has held numerous senior leadership positions in the Jewish community in Australia and globally. As a survivor of child sexual abuse, Manny founded organisations to deal with the issue of child sexual abuse in Jewish communities around the world, most notably VoiCSA. Manny is a former Vice President of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, President of the Canberra Jewish community, Governor of the New South Wales Jewish Communal Appeal Board of Governors and a Founding Director of the Online Hate Prevention Institute, among other roles. He is also the author of his memoir, Who gave you permission?. Manny has been diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, which he suffered as a result of the sexual abuse he endured as a child.
